As a result of recent discussions with our NHS England Local Area Commissioning team, we have been asked to focus all our resources on reducing our NHS Treatment Waiting List which is currently a 24 month wait. In order to achieve this we have to stop seeing New NHS Patients at both our practices for the foreseeable future.
Whilst this is great news for anyone currently on our NHS Treatment Waiting List as we will be directing all our NHS funding at getting your treatment started as soon as we can with the funding we have; unfortunately it is very sad news for all the Dentists that refer their patients to us as we are no longer able to accept their NHS Referrals.
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to decline NHS Referrals and not a decision we have reached lightly. We appreciate that there will be some very disappointed people who specifically wanted to come and see us for NHS Orthodontic Treatment. We want you to know that we are doing all we can in these very challenging times and hopefully it won’t be too long before we can accept NHS Referrals for New Patients again.
